Pony beads question…………..?
For patterns like this (http://www.how-to-make-jewelry.com/bead-lizard.html) where you make animal keychains out of pony beads, it usually says to use a satin cord or to use ribbon. All I have is regular yarn and would that work? Would it have the same effect and work and look the same? Thanks.
No, yarn will be too soft and limp once you complete the project. Satin cord, ribbon, metallic cord, nylon lace, even fishing line, all make the project firm when complete. I think you will be disappointed with your end results if you use yarn.
