Can an animal cell be in the shape of an oval?
Im doing a project and my base( where im gona put alll the parts) are in an oval plastic contrainer…i kinda need sum help on wat to use….and can it be oval? here goes….
Nucleus- easter egg shell or clay
Nucleolus- dot or clay (again)
Smooth ER- spongy foam
Rough ER- spongy foam(again!!!)
Ribosomes- ???HELP!!!
Cell Membrane- yarn or string around OVAL?? container
Golgi Bodies- spongy foam
Cytoskeleton- dry non cooked noodles
Mitochondrion- ???HELP!!!
So basically I need help on mitochondria, ribosome, lysosome, and i need 2 no if i can make an animal cell thats in the shape of an oval! plz help im only in 6th grade!!!
ok, just tell your teacher the the cell was forced into an oval shape by External factors, like other cells or objects
- he cannot tell it it is not
i would use two beads glued together to make ribosomes, since ribosomes consist of two subunits.
i would use any round object for the mitochondria and paint lazy zig zag curves over it. the surface of the mitochondria is wavy.
if you tell your teacher the zig zag lines represent how the surface of the mitochondria is convoluted to increase surface area, he will probably be even more stoked to give you an A
i would get old toilet paper rolls, then print out a neat looking garbage bag logo and glue it onto the roll and make it look cine to represent lysosomes, since they are like the garbage bags of the cell.
have fun
kirby’s epic yarn weird easter egg?
