How can I work at a knitting place?
I want to work at a yarn shop so badly! I don’t think they would hire, though since they’re smaller. I want to work some place crafty and where I can learn new things about knitting or anything to do with the craft. Any ideas?
One important bit of info you don’t mention is your general age group. Are you still living at home? If so, ask around. Maybe a local yarn shop would let you volunteer a few hours a week in exchange for a class. If you are already on your own, consider relocating to a larger city area where there will be more yarn shops around. If you are on your own, could you work somewhere else (for pay) and then volunteer a few hours at the yarn shop? You have options. Please be creative and find out what they are. You might also find community center classes helpful.
