Is it normal to hallucinate when you have a fever?
When I was a child I used to imagine a giant yarn ball coming over and squishing me whenever I was sick, or even when I was awake I’d think I was on a row boat that wouldn’t stop moving.
Well I have some sick crud, and I feel horrible. The last time I checked my temperature it was at 100.2 on a digital thermometer. I keep having this hallucination that there are strings attached to my arms and I’m hanging from the ceiling. I’m a freaking marionette… My mom is sleeping and its 11 p.m. where I am now. I can’t sleep, my throat hurts. Everything is spinning…
What should I do, because I’m probably going to end up staying up all night, and I need something to pass the time, or at least make it more bearable. Ahhhhh~ what should I do?

Ah, I checked my temperature again… now its at 101.2 on a digital themometer, the same one.
I don’t know about hallucinating while awake, but whenever my brother gets a fever he has horrible nightmares and hallucinations and he sleepwalks and sleeptalks like crazy O.O you can barely tell he’s awake or asleep aside from the random things he says and does.. He sits on the couch, remote in hand, with the tv off.. Staring blankly. Lol it’s so freaky. And he has no memory of it when he wakes up.
