Does anyone know where to find discontinued Pop’n Yarn or a matching color & weight in another brand yarn?
I’m looking for POP’N YARN #A3-143, CINNAMON. NO DYE LOT 100% V ACRYLIC. 4-PLY WORSTED TYPE. Silly me I’m trying to finish an afghan that I started years ago and thought I had purchased all the yarn I needed when I began the project. Now I am only 2/3 finished and definitely will be short __?__ number of skeins. Please Help! Thank You!
I would go into one of the larger JoAnn stores or a Michaels and see if you can find as close a match as possible — I couldn’t find this yarn even in the depths of the Ravelry community – and there are a million members there and no one lists Cinnamon. It must be a really old yarn.
Go to http://www.caron.com/color_cards/cc_simplysoft.html think about autumn red and see if any of the various worsted solid yarns is close in color. any way – the only other alternative is to put it out as a wanted item on the various blogs.
