Wool, being a good conductor of heat, does not let the heat from your body and clothes go outside, and keeps you snug. While your woollen clothes do keep you warm, it is mainly the thermals (wool underwear) that do the trick of actually keeping all your body heat to you, so your body temperature does not fall, and you keep warm.
Woollen underwear for men, women and children is readily available in the market today, and you don
