Is it bad to put insoles in fur lined boots?
i have these boots that i got from target. the inside is worn down and because the wool is matted down, it sort of hurts to wear them.my mom suggests that i put insoles on them by i refuse.i think it would be better to just get new boots and start over.i think putting insoles inside the boot could ruin that boot and make it feel odd to wear them.
No, it’s not bad and it won’t ruin the boot to put in new insoles. Just be sure they are the same size as the inside of your boot and you won’t even know that the insoles were replaced. Most shoes and boots are made without insoles, they are added last and they are meant to be replaceable in most boots. Maybe mom can’t afford new boots because she’s got other things to buy, like your christmas presents? rent? car payments? Parents can’t always buy things the second the kids think they need them.
