How can soft drinks protect against tear gas?
Some Tunisians from the “Jasmine Revolution” gave tips to Egyptians on the “Friday of Wrath” to wash their faces with coca-cola or pepsi to help against the tear gas bombs the police threw at people… how does it help?
It is the same concept that Coke will clean the battery cables in your car. It will wash away the poison/sting like it washes away the green junk on the cables. And YES it does work, but not 100%.
