How do you work 2 dc in each ch across?
I do not understand how to work two stitches in one loop. I am a crochet beginner, and nothing I have found has helped me figure this out.
Here is the beginning of the pattern for a Ruffled Skinny Scarf:
Row1: Beg in third ch from hook, dc in third ch, work 2 dc in each ch across; turn—482 dc.
After you finish the first dc in a ch, you yarn over or “yo” (wrap the yarn once around the hook) and insert the hook back into the same hole you just used for the last stitch. Finish your dc normally (yo, draw loop through ch, yo, draw yarn through two loops, yo, draw yarn through remaining two loops). Put two dc in each ch all the way to the end of the row. This is what will make it ruffle because now you have twice as many stitches as before.
