Anyone who knits:I’m a beginner- what can I make besides a winter scarf or hat?
I have 5 skeins purple”Homespun” brand yarn(acrylic,worsted weight). Is there a pattern for womans (suitable for size US 16) sweater/or other garment easy enough for beginnner? I can get a bit of help from a knitting circle locally but dont want to bite off more than I can chew..And if I get a pattern designed for another brand of yarn, ,but still acrylic worsted weight, can I use it even if its not specifically desugned for the Homespun brand? I have 2 “free patterns”for homespun-a sweater w.hood and a poncho but theylook too advanced.I plan to take a class but there are no openings right now in times I can go.
