If I put metal knitting needles in water or put lotion on them will they rust or anything?
I have Susan Bates Silvalume knitting needles and I’m wondering if I put stuff like lotion or water on it will it rust or will it do damage to it?
Well, it depends on the metal. I will assume that it’s stainless steel, so no. Lotion won’t do any damage, but water could. It depends on how long you plan to put them in for. Over 48 hours could cause damage.
