Can someone please help translate this Crochet Pattern??
I am a beginner at Crocheting and I found this adorable Tiramisu baby Blanket I want to attempt to make. However I am having a hard time translating the pattern
Directions
Main Blanket
Ch 91.
Foundation Row (RS): 2 sc in 3rd ch from hook. (Sk next ch, 2 sc in next ch) across to end; turn
— 90 sts.
Row 2: Ch 1, sk first sc, 2 sc in next sc; (sk 1 sc, 2 sc in next sc) across to end; turn — 90 sts.
Repeat Row 2 until blanket is 30 inches from bottom.
The part I do not understand is the 2sc in the next sc. How do I make 2 single crochets in 1 Single crochet?
I know this probably a stupid question but any explanation would be appreciated. Thank you!
It is just as it reads….you will put 2 scs into 1 sc. No question is stupid. When I started crocheting, I had problems understanding some of the patterns. I would either read them out loud to myself as I crocheted along, or I would have some one else read them to me. I like the idea of writing them out also. You might also try watching some of the videos on the web…they are very helpful. Good Luck.
