My Nana is special
My Nana’s so nice
When it comes to sewing,
she doesn’t think twice…
She’s a wizard with a needle
she could sew the night away
Crochet you a blanket and have it
warming your lap almost the very next day…
She’s a non-stop amazement of talent
Her creations are more than a simple hobby,
their a genius work of art!
Give her an idea for Cross-stitch,
she can hardly wait to start…
She has a passion for patterns
Every stitch in made with love
She’ll whip yha out a pot holder
And embroider it with a dove…
Tell her the colors you like and she’ll start blending
spools of thread
Before you can finish the verse
to Supercalafradulistic, you’ll have a
beautiful new spread upon your bed…
With Wallhangings, ornaments and dishtowels too
there’s nothing at a fabric store
that she can’t make for you…
So here’s 3 cheers for my Nana & a Hip! Hip! Hurray!!
