My Thread is bunching under my material. HELP!!!?
i was given a Sears/Kenmore Sewing machine. the model number is 158.130. While sewing it makes a couple stitches, then stops, and the thread on the bottom is bunched up terribly. What should i do to fix this problem?
It could be a number of problems — the most likely is that your tension is off….or you have a problem with your bobbin case. But it could be a problem with the type of thread you’re using, the needle you’re using, the foot you’re using, etc… My advice – seek a local independent machine repair person – they should be able to diagnose the problem for about $45 or less (depending on where you live)…. For that cost, they should also be able to maintenance and clean your machine.
