I am going to buy my first sewing machine. What kind should i buy? What do i Need to look for?
I need a starter sewing machine. I don’t need an expensive electronic one right now. I need a simple good quality sewing machine that i can learn on. I want one that i can make baby blankets, pillows, and basic sewing on. My budget is about $200 or below. What brand/model would be best for this? And what else do i need to buy with it? ie: bobbins, what kind of thread etc.
my ideal sewing machine would be durable, it would be able to sew through an assortment of fabrics, it would last me a while or at least until i can upgrade when my skills improve, and be easy to use. any information or advice would be appreciated
In that price range, I’d send you to look at a new mechanical Janome, or for a good used machine.
