What do you want to make? If there’s a pattern for something you want to make, but in a different yarn, you can convert it with a little simple math. Find the gauge of the yarn the pattern’s written for (it’s usually given in the pattern or on the yarn wrapper) and the gauge of the yarn you want to use. Figure out how many stitches of one equals how many stitches of the other. Use a calculator if needs be, and go from there.
