I want to crochet the pot holder on the Lion Brand site and I don’t understand using 3 strands at once.?
The pattern is at: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/ckc-pot.html. Does this mean that I should wind my yarn into three balls and use all at once? And should I do that only to ch 21, or the whole time?

hold all 3 strands together and use it as if it were a single piece of yarn. its the easiest to do this if you have 3 seperate skeins of yarn. just becareful not to drop any of the srands or your work won’t turn out right. And you do it through the entire piece not just ur starting chain. Hope this helps..email me if you have questions! goodluck
