what kind of yarn is best for crocheting mittens?
i recently found a pattern for crocheted mittens and attempted to make them with lion brand worsted weight yearn, but they were child sized! what weight yarn woulf be good to use? the pattern is for a womans hand and i also have a mens hand size, but it is only made with a bigger hook. HELP! thanks!
Check the suggested yarn for the directions you have. If it doesn’t specify, there should at least be a gauge listed. The gauge will tell you how many stitches you should have per inch. Crochet up a swatch and check it against the gauge.
You might want to try one of the Lion chunky yarns. They work up quick and don’t get tangled, which I love!!
