san francisco vintage shopping?
so i’ve never been to a vintage/thrift store but i’ve always wanted to go… but i don’t want to drive up there, and then find out i don’t like it…
if im kind of into boheme/hipster-ey clothes & like shopping at, say, urban outfitters, topshop and zara, is there any SF vintage store that i would like?
*im specifically in search of an amazing cable knit sweater and a nice leather handbag*
You should hit up Haight street (lower, closer to golden gate park). the big vintage/ second-hand store is Wasteland, and there’s always consignment stores like Buffalo Exchange and Cross Roads, but there are many many other vintage, thrift, ect if you just walk up and down the few blocks from Stanyan to Masonic.
The Mission District is also a really good place to go. you kind of have to look around but there are also vintage, trendy and pay-by-the-pound stores that have really great finds. super easy to google.
