
I want to learn how to knit- any help please?

I’ve been trying to learn how to knit for a very long time (years) and I’ve never really understood how. I know how to crochet, but I really like to make hats. I think that knitted hats look better though (the kind with smaller stitches…) but before I make hats I need to learn how to just plain knit. Every time I find a tutorial or a video they go to fast or the diagrams are really confusing. Where did you learn how to knit/where are some excellent tutorials? Diagrams and/or videos would be awesome…
