help me please with rib knitting?
I understand how to do the rib knitting in theory. knit 2 purl 2 repeat, I am doing this but ending up with all of thes extra undecipherable loops on my needle. Please tell me what I am doing wrong- I cast on 14 stitches did one row of knit 2 purl 2 knit 2 . . . and end up with a mess that I have not got a clue what to do with- is there a site that has a video or really concise instructions on how I should be doing this??
You have to bring the wrapping yarn to the front (between the needles) when you purl and then put the yarn in the back when you knit.
I just went and looked…go to this page and click on the ribbing video (blue box not pink box) and watch. It’s very good.
