What is the best brand of polyester embroidery thread for Singer Futura SES2000?
I’ve read up on the types of thread (polyester, rayon, and cotton) and decided polyester would be best for what I’m going to be embroidering. All sewing machines have quirks, and so does thread, so I’m wondering if anyone out there has had success (or failures) with specific brands of thread in the Singer Futura SES2000. I just bought one and it’s on the way!
Maderia and Robison-Anton are very good threads. Poly is a good choice if there is any chance the item being embroidered will be washed with chlorine bleach. Rayon will bleach out.
Buy basic colors and then as needed for the project. Kits of thread usually end up with most of the colors not being used.
