Embroidery Thread Keeps Breaking

embroidery thread keeps breaking
Why does the thread on my Tajima Embroidery Machine keep breaking repeatedly?

I keep rethreading it, but it just keeps breaking right after it starts to stitch again.

I can only answer for the single needle home embroidery machines.

Check the manual to see if the presser foot should be in the up position when threading.

Check the spools for nicks to make sure the thread is not catching there.

Thread can also pool (fall off the spool and pool at the bottom of the spool) and catch on the spool pin.

You can use thread nets cut to the size of the thread spool to help avoid pooling.

Keep the bobbin area clean of lint and thread snips.

If this is a multi head/needle pro model, you will need to check with a Tajima technican.

Or, someone at this site may have some helpful input (provide the model when asking) – http://www.digitsmith.com/
