For Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Yarn, how important is it to have identical dye-lot numbers?
I’m going to knit a blanket with that yarn, but in order to get discount price the skeins have different dye-lot numbers.
I know that with many yarns the dye-lot consistency is really important because the finished product could look weird from different color shade gradations. But some yarns out there don’t have that problem — so I’m hoping this particular yarn would be safe.
Would really love the discount, because this yarn is so expensive — it’s $6.99 a skein, and I need 13 skeins!!!!

I don’t imagine its terribly important. I worked at a craft store and for the most part they are all similar. There may be slight variations in the color but if you aren’t too picky and aren’t looking for the difference it shouldn’t be too out there
