In Need of a Crochet Sweater Pattern– Please!!?

I have many, many skeins of a very fine weight baby yarn in a lavender color that I got for a dress I was going to make that didn’t work out. I would like to use it for a sweater, preferably a basic v-neck sweater or basic pullover crewneck sweater but can’t find any to my liking that don’t look like something the Patridge family would wear. I’ve tried crochet pattern central and lion brand.com, have also tried about.com as well. Any ideas?

go to greatknitdesigns and dowload the free trial of the sweater software program. It will let you design and print patterns for sweaters and cardigans for almost any size, style and design that you create. You can alter sleeve styles, necklines etc. It will also let you choose the ply wool and size needles of your choice (you have to knit a test swatch first) It is a great program – have been using it for many years. I dont think there is a time limit on the trial program but there are some limits on it – you cannot save patterns but you can copy and paste into a word processor. It may be what you need and there is no harm in giving it a try. Good luck..

The garments are simply darling, and include a complete baby layette (with bonnet, booties, sweater, and afgh…
