how long should it take to crochet a 2 by 2 foot blanket by single stitch?
im making a baby blanket for a friend and i got like 28 rows done which is like 4 inches and need to be finished by sunday.

The time it takes is totally dependent on how fast YOU crochet the yarn, hook, and pattern and whether you can work continuously or intermittently. I have finished 36″ x 36″ blankets in a 14-hour trip using worsted-weight yarn and an I hook on a pattern that’s mostly double crochet. It takes longer with single crochet or with a mixed-stitch pattern or when using baby or sport yarn and a smaller hook.
How long did it take you to get the 4″? It will take 6 times that long to get 24″.
