to do a dc2tog here is what you do.
yarn over your hook, insert your hook into the stitch and pull up a loop. now you have 3 loops, now yarn over your hook and pull through 2 loops, yarn over and insert your hook into the next stitch, and pull up a loop, you have now 5 loops. yarn over your hook and pull through 2 loops and then yarn over your hook and pull through the rest of your loops.
you just did a dc2tog.
