bedspread weight cotton thread size 10?
what is this thread and what is the English equivalent I have anamercian crochet pattern that states ths type of yarn and would like to know an english equivalent that I can use
You are going to have to guess here I think.
Yarns usually give the size needle/hook to use so a yarn using the same size needle should be OK. Size isn’t critical with a bedspread is it.
Your pattern will have the US size hook so google in “compare US UK crochet hook” for charts giving the English equivalent size hook. Once you have chosen your yarn you can do a tension swatch and adjust as required.
