why do people use 100% cotton yarn to crochet dishcloths?
I have noticed a lot of patterns call for 100% cotton yarn to be used, and don’t understand why… is it more durable, or absorbent, or what?
It is absorbent, durable, and dries quickly. Acrylic yarns last, but don’t have the ability to scrub that cotton yarns do. They can also pick up odors that can be difficult to get rid of.
