what is the thickest embroidery thread?

im looking to find some thread the same thickness of the one i took a picture of with a ruler(see pic below). its about 1/16 of an inch. the stuff they have at micheals is too thin so im thinking ill have to buy online. what size do you think this is. how thick is size 3 perle cotton? is there anything thicker? help!

that looks like a 3 ply yarn rather than embroidery floss. You can check the various yarns such as baby or fingering or sock yarns and see which will do what you wish.

Or you can put 2 strands of embroidery floss together and use as one strand to get what you wish to work with.
