knitting a blanket?
Ok, I have some circular needles. I know how not to join them. My question is If I want to make a blanket that is bigger then the circular needles.. or all the stiches won’t fit on it, how would I be able to knit a king sized blanket on 26″ circulars?? Would I have to get them bigger?
You should be able to knit up to 4 times the width of the needles ie up to 104 inches. Just squeeze the stitches close together to fit them on the needle. I use an elastic band on the ends of the needles when I put the work down to stop the stitches slipping off. To go bigger than this you would have to make seperate pieces and join them.
