Knitting Needles not Sliding?
If I’ve been using my aluminum circular needles for awhile, they become nearly impossible to slide. I’m assuming my sweat has something to do with it. I’m also using acrylic yarn. Anyone know any tricks to keep the needles from “sticking?”
I have had the same problem and instead of thinking of things to put on my hands I went to the source and gave the knitting needles a bath in dish soap and water. Just put a little dish soap on your fingers and rub it over the shaft, rinse it, dry it and go back to work.
