Where to find a crochet pattern for a throw?
In Harrods yesterday, there was a beautiful white throw crocheted in fine white yarn. It was made up of different pattern granny squares I believe but it didn’t look as chunky as normal granny blankets. I would love to have a go at something similar, I’m a beginner, so it’d have to be fairly simple. The ‘squares’ all looked a bit different I think, so the pattern would have to allow for all the squares to end up the same size, even though the pattern varied. Would this pattern cost a fortune, where would it be available in the UK and would it be too complicated for a novice?? Thanks
www.lionbrand.com has tons of crochet patterns. Maybe you can find something you like. Remember you can always use a different yarn than the pattern calls for to get the effect you want.
